You know how it works – you’ve just come in from a gruelling 18 holes at the local golf course on a Tuesday afternoon, you’ve each grabbed yourself a well-earned beer and now you’re all sitting around a table, wondering how to win the money back that you’ve just to your opponents on the fairway. The obvious answer is to dig a few coins out and play an uncomplicated game of Heads Or Tails. At least that’s what developer Playtech would have us believe and Heads Or Tails is the name of this brief diversion.
When you load this game up you will be confronted by our three golfers sitting round a small table on which is a big gold coin. The golf clubs in the background give us a clue as to what these ‘athletes’ have been doing. On the left hand side is a history box showing the recent results of your coin tosses.
The aim of this game is simply to predict the result of the next spin of the coin but there are a couple of added extras to add even more fun to the proceedings.
How It Works
The first thing to do is choose your stake and this ranges from £0.10 all the way up to £100. Now all you need to do is use the buttons to the right of the stake to select heads or tails. Press the ‘Flip x1’ button to flick the coin into the air and reveal the result.
To make things really exciting you can opt to play with two coins rather than one and you can also use the ‘Flip x2’ and ‘Flip x3’ buttons to autoplay the coin flips up to three times.
Potential players should note that the history box is largely useless because past performance is no indicator of future outcomes. It’s also worth noting that successful flips are not worth double your money and the payback for one is 90%.
Verdict
This is the simplest game we’ve ever played by some distance and to be honest it’s not going to keep anyone amused for too long. Try it for a quick laugh but don’t linger too long.
