Energoonz is exactly the sort of game we like; it’s a brand new online slot from Play N Go which mixes elements from several genres to create a really enjoyable experience. It features a number of colourful characters and interesting symbols and it has a really innovative bonus feature.
The gameplay takes place on a 5 x 5 grid and while there are no paylines as such, winning combinations are created by lining up three or more matching symbols either horizontally or vertically. On the right hand side of the screen there’s an electrical zapper which will zap all the symbols in a winning combo and on the left you can see a list of the combos you’ve made in the recent win.
There is a wild symbol but it’s formed by making winning combinations and so you won’t see it until you manage that.

Cascading Reels
This is a feature we always like and what happens is that each time to land a win, those symbols involved will be zapped out of existence and replaced by some more from above. The central symbol will always be turned wild which helps to create the next win.
The symbols which fall down to replace those lost are not infinite – only the symbols you can already see will fall and when you can no longer make any more winning lines, the normal spins will resume. Clearing the whole grid will win you 1000x your total bet.
Free Spins
Underneath a random number of reels on each spin you can can make out the word ‘Bonus’ written vertically; if you can clear the whole row above that word you will trigger the feature.
