Not all software developers have to be huge corporations with offices in fifteen different countries. Many of the games we review are designed and developed by companies which employ just a handful of people and it’s fair to say that the quality of the games rarely suffers.
Big Time Gaming is one of the smaller outfits around and it’s also one of the newest. As with many of the younger outfits, it was conceived by employees of other firms in the same industry – Nik Robinson and Huw McIntosh had previously worked for OpenBet and NT Media while Ian Schmidt came from Rock Star Games. The company is based in Sydney, in what it calls the ‘creative hub’ of the city in Surry Hills.
Big Time Gaming has been busy in the few years of operation and has expended plenty of effort in tying up partnerships with larger operators and of course the online casinos which are so important. Partnerships have been developed with companies such as OpenBet and Quickfire and this has enabled Big Time to distribute their releases to a wider audience. A deal with Core Gaming has enabled Big Time to quickly convert it’s games into mobile HTML versions.
You can play Big Time’s games at casinos such as Bet Victor and a couple that we’ve enjoyed are Feathered Frenzy and Golden Goals. Feathered Frenzy is graphically excellent and gives some idea of what to expect from this outfit while Golden Goals has been released just in time to take advantage of the 2014 World Cup.
The Feathered Frenzy Reactor is a different game to Feathered Frenzy and it’s also one of Big Time’s progressive jackpots along with games such as Diamonds, Joker Jackpot and Mr Multiplier. There’s more than just online slots however; roulette and blackjack make up some of the gaming line up and a game called Auto-Roulette has proved particularly popular at the casinos at which it can be found.
