Chain Reactors belongs to a genre of video games with which we’re probably all familiar; if you’ve played Bejeweled, Jewel Mania, Candy Crush Saga or any of a number of similar games then the game play of Chain Reactors should be clearly recognisable.
It’s not an online slot machine in the standard sense and it’s a very simple game to play but we’ll describe it first; as you can see from the screenshot above the action takes place on a 5 x 5 grid with a selection of colourful characters as follows – Goldie, Flirty, Zoid, Spiky, Sunny and Cyclo. There’s a shiny yellow smiley face which triggers the jackpot. To the left of centre are two boxes, one with progressive jackpot information and one with payout rewards. To the right of the centre is a box which records your wins.
So How Does It Work?
The first thing you need to do is pick your stake levels; you can do this by selecting your stake in the bottom left of the screen and then all that’s left is to press the ‘Bet’ button, or use the Autoplay feature if you are so inclined.
Now the good stuff starts and what you are looking out for is chains of five or more similar characters joined together horizontally and/or vertically; each chain will earn you a cash reward dependent on how big the chain is but the best bit is yet to come. Each successful chain now vanishes, enabling a cascade of new symbols and new winning chances. Verdict
Chain Reactors is lovely looking game which admittedly lacks a bit of diversity but makes up for that with cute characters and motivational phrases which appear at the bottom of the screen. You can bet between €0.20 to €200.00 per spin and there’s a jackpot of 10,000x your stake.
