Chilli Gold is one of only a handful of games we’ve played from Lightning Box but they’ve all been of a high quality; this one features five reels and forty fixed paylines and there’s some stereotypical stuff hiding away behind the reels. We can see a gentleman with a Mexican hat and poncho grasping a chilli, cacti, a donkey and rock stacks in front of a blue sky.
The lower value playing card symbols are decorated in a historically appropriate manner but the higher value icons are a pair of maracas, a parrot, a guitar, the Mexican chap and the donkey. The big shiny chilli is the stacked wild and the bonus scatter symbol but there’s also a gold chill scatter which only appears in the bonus feature.
