Folsom Prison is a five reel slot with an initial sixteen paylines and those reels spin on a selection of locked and locked cells – the backdrop is the stone towers and forbidding walls of the prison itself.
The higher value symbols are five inmates, each of whom have back stories to flesh out the narrative a little and you’ll learn about these as the gameplay progresses; 10, J, Q, K and A are the lower values. The wild symbols are the ‘Wild’ and the cockroach nest and the golden prison badge is the scatter. Cockroach Wilds
When a cockroach nest lands on the reels it will become wild and a cockroach will emerge – any locked cells it scuttles across are unlocked to increase the paylines for that spin. They may also add multipliers to symbols they walk across and if they encounter another bug a wild will appear on the position.
xWays
When an xWays symbol lands it will split into a regular symbols or a wild – the regular symbol can become a maximum of four symbols and the wild a max of two. Paylines increase accordingly.
