Among the various giants of online game development there are a number of up and coming smaller companies which look set to introduce new levels of quality and variety into a crowded marketplace.
Gamevy is one example – this London-based developer may not have been around for long but they’ve already made a mark with their range of innovative online gameshows, slots, lotteries and scratch cards.
The online gameshows are a particularly interesting concept as they give players the opportunity to take part in various television gameshow concepts with trivia questions, luck and cash prizes all playing their part. The Heist is a very good example, as is Gears of Fortune and these are very high quality games with some well balanced general knowledge questions.
