Side City Studios began life in 1999 in Montreal, Canada as a developer of bricks and mortar games to the casino industry in North America but in recent years it has turned its attention to the online space.
The driver behind this focus on online slot machines was the takeover of Side City Studios by the giant NYX Gaming Group in 2015 who brought this company under their umbrella to join other acquisitions such as Chartwell, Cryptologic and Betdigital.
The headquarters of Side City Studios is now in Las Vegas but there are offices in numerous places around the world – Australia, Canada, the United States and Europe. This organisation’s output is not limited to slot machines however and includes television and cinema programming, background and character design for video games, apps and games for smartphones and custom graphics.
