Texas Tycoon is a five reel slot with three rows and up to ten paylines; the Merkur design is easily recognisable with the game contained in a brushed metal box but behind the neat reels there’s a faintly foreboding view of oil wells stretching off into the distance underneath a threatening skyline.
There are five high value symbols including three characters – the be-hatted Tycoon, his wife and a scantily-clad girl draped over a posh car (perhaps his mistress?) – a gold watch and a cigar/brandy combo; 10, J, Q, K and A represent the lower values. The high value symbols can all appear stacked on the reels.
The wild symbol is a an erupting oil well which is always three reel positions high; it will substitute for all others to help form winning combinations.
