Always a company to introduce a bit of innovation into a slot machine, Nolimit City have again come up with something a little different in an octagonally-shaped game called The Cage (Underground Fight Club). It’s based on Mixed Martial Arts and its top down gameplay brings us a clever reel mechanic and lots of themed bonus features.
The Cage is a seven reel slot with a 3-4-3-4-3-4-3 reel setup and 5184 ways to win; the symbols occupy the floor space and there are a load of disreputable punters crowded outside the cage to watch the action.
The high value symbols are five fighters – Little Dragon, The Constrictor, One Glove Man, Ironjaw and Big Fatty; 10 to Ace are the lower values. The ‘Title Fight’ symbol is the scatter symbol and the fist is the wild.
The gameplay is interesting and the symbols all slide in on the own diagonal rows – any in a winning combo will disappear and be replaced by more fallen from above, possibly continuing the process.

Wild symbols are present in regular gameplay but they can also be created where there are at least three symbols in a diagonal line anywhere on the reels and no win. Three, four, five or six aligned symbols will add add 1, 2, 3 or 4 wilds. Each wild will also add a 1x multiplier for any subsequent wins on this spin and any unused wilds will explode and cause another cascade.
Title Fight Free Spins
Three scatter symbols in view will activate this feature and you’ll start with eight free spins with which to defeat all five fighters. The reels are in a 3-3-3-2-2-2-3-3-3 formation with the four lower central positions marked. Every boxing glove which lands on the reels will hit the opposing fighter which will help defeat them. The marked positions (the Title Belt) have different uses depending on the fighter and will only activate once per spin:
- Big Fatty – three punches will defeat him and you’ll receive three extra spins; the Title Belt has no effect here.
- Ironjaw – three punches will defeat him and you’ll receive three extra spins; the Title Belt area will add a 2x multiplier to low value symbols.

- The Constrictor – five punches will defeat him and you’ll receive five extra spins; the Title Belt has no effect here. The Title Belt area will transform low value symbols into your opponent.
- Little Dragon – all abilities of previous Title Belts are in play here plus an extra sticky wild to help things along.
In the free spins wins are paid from right to left as well as from left to right.
