Anyone familiar with the world of online slots will know that animals are responsible for a large amount of theft and villainy; The Wild Mob adds to that narrative, it’s developed by Leander Games/Mutuel Play and it offers players free spins, base game features and a slow moving sloth.
The Wild Mob is a five reel slot with four rows and fifty fixed paylines; those reels spin on the entrance to a grand bank which is presumably the target of our wild friends. There’s a cityscape silhouetted in the background to complete the metropolitan atmosphere.
The higher value symbols are all valuable targets (gold bars, a safe, bags of coins and jewellery) or the tools of the trade (explosives, a drill, a crowbar and a catapult); 10, J, Q, K and A make up the lower values.
The games logo is wild and it will replace all standard symbols to help create winning matches; the getaway car and the sloth are the special symbols.
Bonus Features
The following features can occur randomly on any spin:
- Sloth Riding Wild – Landing a sloth in view will start this mini-feature and you will receive free spins while the sloth moves one position to the left on each spin; he acts as a wild symbol and when he drops off the left hand side the round ends.
- Meerkat Pop-Up Wild – The meerkat may pop up and turn symbols wild, starting from the bottom of any particular reel.

Landing three, four or five of the getaway cars anywhere in view will award 8, 12 or 16 free spins; during this round if a wild sloth lands on the reels it will increase in size to two, three or four reel positions depending on whether the round was triggered with 3, 4 or 5 cars. Verdict
The Wild Mob is a neat, enjoyable slot in which those dastardly animals pop up every now and again to award bonus features; in our experience the bigger wins are in the free spins round but it’s all good fun.
